Kuldīga Needle Factory

Kuldīga Needle Factory is a new cultural space in Latvia that, since September 2022, has become home to students from around the world enrolled in the Latvian Academy of Arts’ international master’s program “Service Design Strategies and Innovations” (SDSI).

The Needle Factory is an unusually innovative and international house of art, education, and co-creation in Kuldīga. It hosts the international master’s SDSI program, the Kuldīga Artists’ Residency, prototyping workshops, the Kuldīga Digital Centre, and the regional office of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA).
