Mārtiņsala (swimming area)
Mārtiņsala is home to the only official swimming area in Kuldīga.
Visitors can enjoy beach volleyball courts, children’s playgrounds, picnic and campfire spots. For safer swimming, lifeguards monitor the area during the summer season. The well-equipped recreation area also offers changing rooms and restrooms.
Around Mārtiņsala, signs with health-promoting exercises form a “health trail.”
Mārtiņsala is accessible to people with mobility challenges and to parents with strollers.
