Art Space ”Studija”

“Studija” is a new art space in Kuldīga, located in the Kaļķu Street Quarter. It primarily functions as a residency and artists’ studio, welcoming practitioners from various fields (with a focus on visual arts) as well as theorists, supporting the creation, research, and education of contemporary practices.

A key focus of the space is fostering dialogue between invited artists and the local community, with particular attention given to promoting sustainable collaboration on an international scale. “Studija” is led by independent curator Maija Rudovska, who has 15 years of experience managing and curating international art projects.

The art space is developed in close cooperation with the Kaļķu Street Quarter team.

The rooms are available for rental for various events. Capacity: up to 30 people. Area: approximately 80 m². Reservations should be made at least 2–3 months in advance due to limited availability.

Facilities include tall tables with seating for up to 15 people, a projector, a screen, and Wi-Fi/internet access.
