Maruses Atelier

Costume designer Dace Beerzins created the brand DoroTheus around 20 years ago, continuing her family tradition in costume design. Both of her grandmothers – Elizabete and Marija, known as Maruse – were well-known costume artists of their time. All the refined ladies of Kuldīga dressed in the costumes they created.

DoroTheus tells the story of the Woman Goddess – unique, one-of-a-kind, and special. This is reflected in the garments, bags, and accessories crafted by the brand, each a work of art made just for you. The creations are born from meditation, flowing with inspiration… first an idea, then letting go… and in the end, a unique piece of art.

The shop also offers works and accessories created by other artists.
