Alekšupīte Expedition

The Alekšupīte Expedition offers a unique opportunity to experience the charm of Kuldīga’s Old Town by winding through the rocky bed of the Alekšupīte stream, overcoming small waterfalls, crawling under several tiny bridges, and discovering the secrets of historic houses from an entirely new perspective.

During the adventure, participants will learn many new things and see well-known buildings from a different viewpoint, guided by an experienced guide.

Expedition participants are provided with rubber shoes in summer or rubber overalls in cooler weather or when the water level is high. Each participant also has a walking stick for easier movement along the rocky riverbed.

Before setting out on the expedition, participants receive a brief instruction session.
