Padure manor barn

Built in the 18th century, the barn with a mansard roof is an architectural monument of national importance. It is the only building in Latvia of its kind preserved till nowadays. In recent years the building has been reconstructed and is now admired by both locals and visitors. The first floor due to its open space is suitable for different social events, while the exhibition of field work tools from the 18th – 19th centuries has been arranged on the second floor. Visitors are welcome to have lunch there, celebrate festivals together with the local folklore group, organize events and taste home wines made in the parish. Booking necessary.
