Lavender Field ”Lillas Lavender”

”Lillas Lavender” invites visitors every summer to enjoy the enchanting beauty of its blooming lavender fields and to purchase eco-friendly lavender products.

The lavender plants reach full growth only in their third year. Until then, a lot of time, effort, and care is required. In the first year, seedlings are planted and carefully tended so that by the second year they are established, and by the third year, they can delight visitors with their rich color and intoxicating fragrance. Although these southern plants have adapted to Latvia’s climate, harsh winters or floods may require replanting. As a result, the field always showcases lavender at various stages of growth.

Once harvested, the lavender is transformed into a range of products: aromatic sachets, dried petals, floral water, and essential oil.

The farm also features a ”Dream Room”, where visitors can immerse themselves in the charm of lavender through four senses – sight, hearing, touch, and smell. Taste is also explored with a refreshing glass of water infused with a lavender sprig.

Since the lavender blooms for a relatively short time, it’s important to visit promptly to experience this beauty at its peak.
