“GRP” Homemade Wines

Owners Rita and Guntis Peterlevici produce homemade wines. They mainly make sweet and semi-sweet wines from currants, gooseberries, raspberries, aronia berries, cherries, quinces, rhubarb, and apples, mostly using fruits from their own garden.

In the summer, birch sap wine is particularly popular. Other special varieties include linden blossom, dandelion, coltsfoot, and blackcurrant wines. During the winter season, they offer a special “Salona Wine”, a mulled wine with unique additions.

For those who enjoy stronger drinks, apple calvados is available.

The wines are made using both traditional recipes and methods, as well as the owners’ own developed and improved recipes.

Visitors can take a tour of the winery and enjoy a wine tasting. Those wishing to purchase a bottle can also try their hand at uncorking, sealing, and labeling the wine themselves. In collaboration with Jaunpils Dairy, the tasting can also include a selection of cheeses.
