Kamenes Samtenes Academy

”Kamenes Samtenes Academy” is located near Turlava in the Kuldīga region, on a property called “Kamenes,” historically known as the Lipaiķi Manor district.

The main areas of activity at the academy are:

NATURE

A walk along the “Hornet Flight” trail evokes a sense of the wild, the unique, and slightly mystical. This trail is a place to admire trees, wander through blooming meadows, draw energy from nature, meet others, and express creativity.

The trail has 10 stops:

Cost: €5 per person. Group and family rates available upon arrangement.
Guided tours with storytelling last 1–2 hours (by arrangement). Self-guided walks are also possible, with fees agreed individually.

HISTORY AND TRADITIONS

Educational workshops explore blue clay, plant fibers, acorn coffee, and other plant-based drinks. Visitors also learn about soil fertility and folklore through stories and tales passed down through generations.

Interactive activities for families and tourist groups include celebrating seasonal festivals, Latvian dances, games, and communal music-making, creating joy and a sense of togetherness.

The tour ”Journey to the Ancient Curonians” is available for individuals and groups.
