Forest Trail Stage 92: Snēpele – Kuldīga
The length of the Snēpele–Kuldīga stage is 21 km.
The Forest Trail follows the main street through Snēpele and joins Road V1294. After just 0.3 km, opposite Lake Ķepši, it turns right onto a small country road. The trail then winds along this road to the village of Slipiņciems.
From there, the Forest Trail continues towards Pelči. In the Pelči area, the route meanders along the Dambu fish ponds, reaches the Kuldīga–Pelči Road (V1293), and then passes through the garden districts of Kuldīga—Kurzemīte and Rumba—before reaching the banks of the Venta River and the Kuldīga bypass road.
From there to the Old Brick Bridge, the Forest Trail follows a beautiful riverside path along the Venta for 2.4 km. In wetter sections and where the trail crosses small streams, wooden bridges and boardwalks have been installed to ensure safe passage.
