Forest Trail Stage 93: Kuldīga – Renda
The stage from Kuldīga to Renda is 32 km long.
After crossing the Old Brick Bridge over the Venta River, the Forest Trail briefly continues along the deeply ravined right bank of the Venta. It then follows Krasta Street and the Vetklīnika–Paleja Road, crosses the Kalnmuiža Forest and the Riežupe River, and continues all the way to Mazrenda along the forest roads of the extensive Renda forest massif.
The terrain in this section is generally flat, as the route lies within the Pieventa Plain of the Kursa Lowland.
In Mazrenda, the Forest Trail crosses a sand and gravel quarry and follows Kuldīgas Street into the centre of Renda.
This stage passes through the territories of the Venta Valley Nature Reserve and the Riežupe Nature Park.
